Our name is derived from an ancient Japanese code that the samurai of the time lived by. Bushido was more than just a set of rules; it was basically a state of being, encompassing a respect of others and a genuine concern for the results of their actions. The samurai who lived through bushido, valued honour above life itself.

The code can be broken down into the following seven tenets : integrity, courage, compassion, reputation, honour, loyalty & respect. Thus ‘Bushido Hospitality’ was born, with our name aptly describing the drive behind our venture and the manner in which we set out to achieve our goals.
